Directions

From Thanet/Sandwich:

Follow signs for A256 Dover. Once on the A256 after approximately half a mile you will see signs indicating a right turn to Eastry. Take this turn and continue. After around 3/4 of a mile this road will take you into the village and you will pass some shops and also High Street Car Park on your left (see below). Having passed the car park you will approach The Five Bells pub on your left at The Cross. Take a left turn into The Cross then an immediate left again at the chip shop into Church Street. The bowling club entrance is at the end of the row of houses on the left.

From Dover:

Follow signs for Ramsgate/Sandwich A256. Once on the A256 after approximately 6 miles you will approach a roundabout. Eastry is signposted as the 1st exit. Take this turning and continue for 3/4 of a mile where you will see The Five Bells pub on your right. Take the right turn into The Cross then an immediate left at the chip shop into. Church Street. The bowling club entrance is at the end of the row of houses on the left.

Parking:

 

There is no dedicated car park for the bowling club. There are several parking bays along Church Street which have no maximum time limit. If these are occupied on street parking is permitted along Church Street. Those parking on the road are asked to do so respectfully ensuring access to  residents properties is not blocked and sufficent space is left for emergency vehicles.

Alternatively there is a free car park on High Street. To get there turn right out of Church Street, then right again onto High St. The car park is approximately 150 metres down the road on your right. It is less that a 5 min walk back to the club from there. For directions to High Street car park click HERE
